Canon vinyls enter production, Meep custom vinyls too, art assets distributed

Hello with another update from a ruined, post-apocalyptic America.

Fulfillment has taken a few more steps recently, so here's me keeping everybody in the loop:

• If you were at the $25 or higher tier, you should have received a digital download with all the arts tonight.
• Meep is beginning to burn Custom Vinyls now for those of you at the $189 and higher tiers.
• Canon Vinyl production just got approved.

Here's what's left in this project:

• Finish laying out Art Book, see it printed.
• Ship out the physical rewards to backers once they arrive.
• At the very end of it all, publish the Album Within The Album so everyone can hear all the music that went into this in its pure, original glory rather than in pieces on the radio.

Hello fellow Piecers-Together! I have some cool updates from the #Hashtag on Twitter where some people swapped copies and theories.

Firstly, if you check out the hashtag ( https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23BitsOfPieces ) there are five copies that have been made public. Several backers used Dropbox and one used YouTube to publish their Pieces for public consumption. If you want to contribute yours to the pool, remember to use the hashtag!

There's also been some theorizing, but I have self-imposed rules from commenting on it, lest it seem like I am favoring or disfavoring any particular interpretation. All I can say is check out the threads in the hashtag started by Eric Brown, Kathryn Aldridge, and Ruin Talker Pyxis Gyam for some thought-provoking fan theories.

"The First Piece" Vinyls Are Printing

I sent off the canon vinyls to the printer this morning! We're still working on the book, but once I have both the books and the vinyls ordered, I'll be able to give a clearer delivery target on when everything will be fulfilled. We're getting close to the finish line now!

Just a quick update here. Some backers are trying to figure out how to exchange information and I said I would not participate in it because my "rules" for this project is that I can't guide the discovery. I set the Pieces free and now what happens next has to be organic and discovered on its own.

But they asked if I could pass on that they started a hashtag on Twitter and I said sure. It's #BitsOfPieces.

So if you are on Twitter and you are trying to trade some information on your Pieces, try the #BitsOfPieces hashtag. There are a couple backers talking on it now. I will be staying out of it, according to my rules.

Individual Copies 100% Sent Out; Check Your Email!

Hey fellow Piecers-Together! This is the update I've been waiting to send for a while... all the Individual Copies are sent out!

We have reached 100% fulfillment of Individual Copies, and the Meep pressing plant is turning some of those into unique vinyls, for those of you at the "custom vinyl" tier.

If you did not receive a Unique Copy and you believe you should have- you backed at the Unique Copy tier but you didn't receive anything- please check your email. It would have arrived as an email from my partner Sarah, titled "Pieces". It might have gone to spam, since I suppose emails with big old zip files attached are a little suspicious. So check your spam folders.

Regular canon vinyls are getting pressed soon, and the book is being laid out for the printer.

So much awesome PIECES happening!
